(Far)-UV spectroscopy of the ISM and the IGM at high and medium resolution

We will present the scientific interests of the IGM and ISM group at LAM in a participation in LUVOIR, building on the LAM scientific and technical heritage (FUSE, GALEX, Fireball). We will discuss scientific cases for UV observations of both the ISM down to 1000 A at more than 100,000 resolution and the IGM at intermediate resolution.
